At my daughter's birthday party last year, we got rained out from going creek stomping and invited all her friends to our house for a dance party in our theater room. Less than a week later, I found our forever home, which meant saying good-bye to our beloved theater room. My husband, although instrumental in making sure we got the new house, still has remorse over his theater room.
To be honest, I fell in love with the new house, even without the pool, but the pool definitely put the cherry on top of the whole idea of moving. We closed on this house a mere 27 days after our offer was accepted and finished moving in within about a week.
Still having plenty of summer left, we were able to enjoy our pool last summer. Now it's soaking up the sunshine and finally ready for us to enjoy once again. For that, I am thankful.
