This week brought us into single digits for our end of school year count down. In fact, now we can count down with only one hand.
It's such a busy time of year. Someone I was talking to compared May with December-without the anticipation of gift giving.
Now we've wrapped up elementary field day. We've finished all middle school concerts. For now instruments are sitting untouched. The finale of some after school activities has occurred. And yet, we've still got tons to do. We haven't wrapped up middle school field day, or elementary STEAM Expo. Fifth graders haven't graduated. But by next Friday afternoon all those things will have happened.
Today, I'm thankful that I can taste-and almost feel-the more relaxed pace of summer. And you can bet I'll be spending a lot of it in my own back yard.
